Based on the film “Zero impunity” – where eleven women journalists have researched the impact of sexual violence and systematic abuse on several war fronts around the world but also in regions where there has been no war but sexual violence has been extremely pronounced – will be discussed the connection between the rapes that occurred during the war in Kosovo and about the artist-journalist-activist triangle, emphasizing the latter who engaged in various ways to give life to the stories that reflected the violence during the wars and conflicts.
Some of the questions we intend to answer are: how much have journalists done to investigate the rape occurred in Kosovo? What have the filmmakers done in this regard and how much is the rape of women in Kosovo portrayed in Kosovo cinematography? What do local and international organizations do more in this regard today? Is there a need for more artistic productions in order to achieve zero impunity?
