Find out more below for each special mention:
International Winner: “Slow Light” by Katarzyna Kijek and Przemysław Adamski
Using a combination of stop-motion paper cut-outs (representing present time) and black and white drawings (representing the past), with a vibrant and beautiful color scheme, this film shows us an individual so focused and lost in the long gone past that he’s unable to be present, to just be. He only sees what was, not what is and what might be.
Jury: Chris Robinson, Hsiang Chin Moe, Anastasiya Verlinska, Claus Toksvig, Alice Saey

Student Winner: “From the Corner of my Eye” by Domonkos Erhard

Jury: Vessela Dantcheva, Igor Hofbauer, Marek Náprstek

Balkan Winner: “Her Dress for the Final” by Vanja Andrijevic
The main protagonist of this film enchanted us with her graceful determination we could all feel for.
Jury: Vessela Dantcheva, Igor Hofbauer, Marek Náprstek

Human Rights Winner: “Sasha” by Serghei Chiviriga
A unique story told in a sweet and sympathetic way with skilled animation, beautiful environments and funny twists and turns. A movie that could just be about hermaphrodites in the animal world, but that takes us on a Journey towards not just accepting but embracing our own and everyone else’s male and female qualities.
Jury: Marko Dješka, Annika Bergström, Zarko Ivanov

Animated Music Video Winner: “Children of Metroid” by Tamás Rebák
Within the strong intensity of electronic beats alongside science fiction ambient, this music video reveals authentic retro animation aesthetics and character design. Intrigued by the delicate fantasy world of the director, his possible new worlds and parallel dimensions, the jury was left wanting to see more.
Jury: Marko Dješka, Annika Bergström, Zarko Ivanov

Young Audience Winner: “To Be Sisters” by Anne-Sophie Gousset and Clément Céard
There are many obstacles in life, but those can’t diminish the beauty of childhood and the joy of having fun and playing together, especially when you have a loving family. Personally I’ve been fortunate to have loving sisters, each of them making my childhood enjoyable, and our differences formed a strong bond. I believe that many of us can relate to this charming film.
Jury: Sado Music, Deniza Gafurri, Liburn Krrabaj, Diellza Franca, Bleona Ibrahimi
