Surprise! Another Anibar presentation

Lisa LaBracio joins us this year to deliver an extraordinary presentation

This 12th edition, we have had the honor of having many amazing animation professionals from all over the world at Anibar Animation Festival. They delivered different presentations about subjects in the field of animation, as well as panels and workshops specially tailored to the Kosovo youth, so that they could get a feel of what the animation industry has in store for them. We are very proud to announce that Lisa LaBracio will be joining the long list of these creators hosting presentations at Anibar International Animation Festival. She is a freelance animation director specialising in handmade animation techniques, based in Brooklyn, New York. 

Lisa is a part of the founding animation team at TED-Ed. During her career she has had the opportunity of directing many educational shorts, including the award-winning animated poem “The Opposites Game”. Apart from this, Lisa explored another route: she started in freelance animation direction where she has been working continuously with several clients and organizations with the hopes of uplifting the stories of artists, scientists and non-profits, in order for their message to be perceived on a wider level and give it a fresh new visual look. 

Lisa LaBracio is very excited to share with us some behind the scenes processes of these shorts, as well as some insight from her time creating educational material. Lisa has had quite the artistic journey and it is a very colorful story waiting to be heard. Apart from that we can see a sneak peak of a series she started directing this Spring!
