IN SOLIDARITY WITH UKRAINE

Anibar presents its first collaboration with Linoleum Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival.

On our 13th edition of the festival, we will be screening a 40 minutes program in support of our Ukrainian artists. Art has no boundaries and as such it should not be silenced. During these hard times we are humbled to stand with and help our partners, artists and friends from Ukraine by offering them space to show their work on this edition of the festival.

FROM UKRAINE TO KOSOVO
During the Festival, our guests enjoyed a performance from Ukrainian artist Neither Famous Nor Rich (NFNR) on our collective support for Ukraine.
In addition, we have launched an emergency support initiative for the cultural community of Linoleum. The initiatives’ main goal is to provide them with immediate financial support for their Festival.

LINOLEUM International Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival is the biggest showcase of short independent animation in Ukraine. Launched in 2014 in Kyiv each year the festival screens around 250 films from all over the world, offers workshops and lectures held by the field’s best players and a special program for children. LINOLEUM aims to support animation artists and promote Ukrainian animation worldwide as well as encourage and celebrate creativity among animators and media artists.
Due to Russia’s aggression towards Ukraine, LINOLEUM has been unable to gather the necessary funds to organize their 9th edition of the festival in Kyiv this fall. To make LINOLEUM happen one more time, they need our financial support.
We plead to everyone reading this to donate and help our Ukrainian friends make their festival happen.
