Interviews with Anibar visitors about their experience with isolation. Part 2

In “Tales of Isolation” we ask visitors to share with us their experience with isolation. Today we talked to Era Muharremi, a 17 – year – old visiting Anibar Animation Festival for the first time this year. To her, isolation doesn’t look like anything in particular, no shape or form. Her experience during the past year is pretty much as everyone else’s due to COVID-19, she said. “I have felt disconnected from people around me, therefore I felt really alone.” But according to her there might be one silver lining to this form of isolation. “It can be both good and bad: it can feel lonely and scary, but at the same time, it can give you time and space to focus on personal problems.”
