Peja Jazz festival returns with a new edition
Peja Jazz Festival returns in its 2024 edition, bringing to the city of Peja a rich mix of international artists and jazz music. The festival will take place from October 30 to November 2, 2024, at the Jusuf Gërvalla Cinema, Pejë and on November 3, 2024 at the Oda Theater, Prishtina.
The main performers will be Laura Prince, Cimbalom Duo, Ceylan Taci and Wada Iko Sai.
• Laura Prince (October 30)
A talented vocalist and songwriter with roots in Togo and France, known for her authentic style and the emotions she expresses in her music. She will be accompanied by pianist Julian Caetano, a rising star on the jazz scene.
• Cimbalom Duo (October 31)
Káláman Balogh and Miklós Lukács bring a mix of jazz and folk music through the rare instrument of the cimbalom, offering a performance rich in emotion and rhythm.
• Ceylan Taci (November 1)
A vocalist of Albanian origin from Belgium, known for her unique style that combines Balkan music, jazz and world rhythms. She will perform with the group Astrit Stafai & Friends.
• Wada Iko Sai (Nov. 2-3)
A well-known Japanese all-male band that performs with traditional Japanese drums. With over 2,000 performances in 30 countries around the world, the group brings an incredible energy to the stage, promoting Japanese cultural heritage in contemporary and creative ways.
Peja Jazz Festival 2024 promises to bring a unique atmosphere, inviting music lovers to enjoy a rich artistic and cultural mix from around the world.
The festival will be held from October 30 – November 2, 2024 – Jusuf Gërvalla Cinema, Pejë and November 3, 2024 – ODA Theater, Prishtina.
