How does the pandemic impact your experience of the Anibar Animation Festival

We are all aware of the ongoing outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), which was declared a pandemic a year ago by the World Health Organisation. Although the situation continues to evolve rapidly, one thing is certain, Anibar remains fully committed to ensuring that our activities are being carried out in a safe, diligent and reasonable manner under the current circumstances. We want to inform you about which measurements are taking place to make sure you have a happy and safe festival!

To ensure the safety of our staff, visitors and fans from all over the country and beyond, but to also allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy the festival in its true, natural and unfiltered format, this year we are very proud to announce that we are offering a hybrid version of the festival. You can both watch our films online, and at our regular festival in Peja.

We want to ensure that the entire physical activities that will take place in Peja during the course of the festival will be in complete accordance with the anti covid restrictions set forth by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. This means that we ask visitors to keep the appropriate distance, wear masks and clean their hands regularly. Current government measures can also be found here. Besides these measurements, the festival will have its usual form.
