Day Four of Anibar 2024: A summary of the numerous activities happening at the International Animation Festival

The International Animation Festival Anibar 2024 continued with its fourth day, offering a wide range of activities and workshops dedicated to art and creativity. The day was filled with energy and passion, featuring events such as video-mapping, comic fanzine creation, paper cut animation, puppet making, and more.
The fourth day began with an intensive workshop on video-mapping techniques by Jules Camille Huvig at the former Bankkos, which lasted all day. Meanwhile, BoneVet Peja hosted a variety of workshops, from comic fanzine creation with Marko Djeska, to paper cut music video animation with Djellza Bullaku, and puppet making with Thomas Volda. Students of Daniel Saul and Izzy Barszcz focused on StoryWalks2, while Milos Tomic led a unique Stop-Trik picnic.
A special program for young audiences took place at Jusuf Gërvalla Cinema, showcasing a selection of animated films created especially for children. At the Art Gallery, participants had the opportunity to experience virtual reality throughout the day.
At Exit Bar, film enthusiasts met with filmmakers during the Coffee and Talks session, exchanging ideas and experiences. At Jusuf Gërvalla Cinema, the Balkan Competition presented an excellent selection of films from the region, while the presentation on co-producing between France and the Western Balkans attracted the attention of many interested in the film industry.
The first part of this presentation took place in the afternoon, followed by the second part later in the day. The feature film “Sultana’s Dream” was screened at 16:00, while the panel on rethinking masculinity held a lively discussion at the Art Gallery at 17:00.
The “Get Together” event took place at a location announced via email, gathering all festival guests for an open buffet and networking opportunity. In the evening, the international and student competitions were held at Lake Cinema and Cubes Cinema, featuring a selection of films from around the world.
The day concluded with a lively after-party at Lake Cinema, where GORO performed, wrapping up a day filled with creativity, collaboration, and celebration.
