At Thursday the 5th of August at 18.00, Anibar is hosting an interactive talk in Kinema Jusuf Gërvalla about the possibilities of Kosovar youth to volunteer abroad with Anibar. In this talk, Anibar will explain the possibilities of the European Solidarity Corps-program. Interested youngsters also have the chance to meet Kosovar volunteers who went abroad, as well as talk to foreign volunteers who are with Anibar now.

The European Solidarity Corps program aims to foster solidarity in European society. It offers young people between 18 and 30 the chance to engage in volunteering activities abroad, ranging from short projects of 2 months to long projects of 12 months. Volunteers from Kosovo have a wide choice of volunteering projects in all of Europe: from working in cultural centers to doing ecological projects to helping at schools. Volunteering abroad is a great way to broaden the horizon of young people, especially for Kosovar who don’t have much opportunities abroad due to visa restrictions. European Solidarity Corps-volunteers gain new working skills, meet new people, learn a new language and get to know a new country and culture in a very intimate way.

Until now, Anibar has sent three volunteers from Kosovo abroad, to cultural and social centers where they are helping the local communities as volunteers and improving their skills. Currently, Anibar is also hosting two Dutch volunteers in their organization.

At the event, which will take place in Kinema Jusuf Gërvalla from 18.00, Anibar will explain the possibilities of young people to volunteer abroad and how Anibar can help them with this, and learn about the experiences of people who have already gone abroad. All young people between 18 and 30 are invited to come!
