“Coffee and Talks” – Day 1

Anibar’s “Coffee & Talk” event started yesterday with the filmmakers of “The Tower”, Laurent Versini and the director of the “Heat Wave”, Fokion Xenos. In this conversation, we had the pleasure of listening to the filmmakers about the techniques, details, animation, movements, and success of their movies. As their films were screened one night before, the participants had the chance to get some insights and behind the scenes from the filmmakers. 

The filmmakers explained the excitement they go through the animation they can create movies, express their thoughts on social issues and show the world that this is a new way to protest the things that should not happen. At the same time, they were happy to have the opportunity to create a voice in civil society, unlike the political class.

The directors of showed that their films have appeared in many other festivals as well

even though they are movies for children, it has been difficult for them to decide what age can watch them. In the end, they decided that movies could be viewed by 10 or 12-year olds.

Meanwhile, within Anibar, every day, starting at 11:00, everyone can meet with the filmmakers of various movies that will be screened at Anibar.
