This year, a wide variety of VR works have been selected from the catalogues of leading French distributors Diversion Cinema, Astrea and Lucid Realities. The films reflect the diversity of creation and the different animated approaches will take you into singular universes. You'll enter the intricacies of the human body with "Strands of Mind", be immersed in a love story between a little human girl and a zombie boy with "Gloomy Eyes", defy the laws of gravity with "Marco & Polo Go round" and enter Munch's famous painting "The Scream".
All these works have been selected and awarded prizes at many international festivals in recent years, including Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Tribeca and Annecy.

Gala Frecon

Gala has worked with a number of organizations and festivals as a film programmer and events coordinator. She has been involved with the Annecy International Animation Film Festival for several years, participating in the selection of VR works, the WTF programme and in the pre-selection of short films and graduation films. She also works for the French organization Festivals Connexion as VR Project manager and VR curator.
