AnibarPro 2025: Where Animation Finds Its Future
GENESIS: A French-Kosovar Creative Initiative
For years, Anibar has been quietly and sometimes loudly sowing the seeds of a new animation culture in Kosovo. Through the Animation Academy, grassroots workshops, and brave young storytellers, we’ve built something deeper than a skillset: we’ve built a community. Anibar Pro is where that community takes flight.
This year, Anibar Pro returns as the beating heart of our professional program. Over the course of five days, it brings together creators, mentors, producers, and studios from across Europe and Kosovo to exchange knowledge, develop projects, and imagine bold new futures for animation.
At the center of Anibar Pro 2025 is GENESIS — an ambitious French-Kosovar initiative that empowers the next generation of creative entrepreneurs in animation, gaming, and multimedia. Implemented by Anibar in partnership with the Institut français du Kosovo and supported by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Embassy in Kosovo, GENESIS is not just a program, but a movement. Through it, 65 young creatives from Kosovo have developed their stories, sharpened their voices, and found the confidence to pitch their projects internationally.
Anibar Pro will host the culmination of their journey through four Genesis Pitching Sessions, one French-Kosovar Cultural Entrepreneurship Fair, and a lineup of events that ask big questions about sustainability, ethics, mental health, and mentorship in animation.
