Open Call – Festival Coordinators and Volunteers

Anibar opens call for volunteers/coordinators for the 12th edition of the festival

Anibar Animation Festival is just around the corner! Due to the ongoing pandemic, this edition will be hybrid: we both welcome visitors at our festival in Peja, but it’s also possible to watch movies on a digital Anibar platform from the 23rd until the 30th of July 2021.

In order to make our festival a success, we need coordinators and volunteers to help the Anibar organization in a variety of roles, for example with helping out at workshops, the hospitality of our guests, selling tickets and merchandise, helping out at the cinemas and events, and many more tasks. That’s why we are searching for enthusiastic coordinators and volunteers to join our Anibar team and help make this year’s edition a big success!

Become a Volunteer at Anibar

As a volunteer, you will be part of a group of like-minded individuals who want to help their community prosper. It’s also an opportunity to meet artists from all over the world, make new friends, develop marketable skills and be a part of one of the most exciting events in Kosovo. What we ask of our volunteers is that they are at least 16 years old, are enthusiastic and positive people, and are ready to work together with other volunteers and our team to make the 12th edition of Anibar a memorable one! For the volunteers that don’t live in Peja, we will secure their accommodation.

Become a Coordinate at Anibar

Coordinators take up a key leadership position in the organization of the Anibar Animation Festival. Coordinators are responsible for the management of a venue, event, or workshop and will have the responsibility for a number of volunteers. Below you find a list of all the Coordinator positions that we’re looking for. To be a Festival Coordinator, it’s important that you have some relevant working experience and are friendly, confident, reliable, and responsible. You also have to be available before, during and after the festival. Successful candidates will start work from the end of June and be able to work until August 8th. We encourage past festival volunteers, people with expertise, or those who want to gain valuable experience to apply to these coordinating positions as well.
