The Anibar Festival is a five-day workshop dedicated to creating a DIY comic fanzine through the illustration process – from visual conception to print preparation. In this workshop, the participants will develop ideas for illustrations that tell collective stories, will work on creating characters and composing scenes and will collaborate on designing a fanzine to be printed at a local studio.

Works created during the workshop will have the opportunity to be included in the FANZINE #3 publication, and selected works may also be included in a special edition of Anibar Magazine.

Marko is an animated film director, illustrator and comic book author, also a longtime visitor of Anibar festival and a great fan of Anibar and the city of Peja. Graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, animation department. He participated in many training programs, such as the Animation Sans Frontieres and the script writing course at La Poudriere in France. He is the author of four awarded films. He is also the co-founder of the Adriatic Animation Studio for animation production in Zagreb, and one of the organizers of the OHOHO Festival of Comics and Street Art (Zagreb, Croatia) and International festival of comics and animation Supertoon in Šibenik, Croatia.
