Human Resources Coordinator at Anibar!

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join the Anibar family. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, training, and development. 

About Anibar:

Anibar is a dynamic organization led by passionate activists dedicated to empowering young people in Kosovo to express their ideas and perspectives through animation. It provides a platform for addressing important social issues relevant to the youth of the region. Anibar organizes two major festivals: the Anibar International Animation Festival, now in its 15th year, and the Peja Jazz Festival, which has held four editions so far. The organization also manages the only cinema in Peja, Kinema Jusuf Gervalla, a vital cultural hub for the community. Additionally, Anibar runs the Anibar Animation Academy, a nine-month intensive educational program aimed at teaching animation to young aspiring artists. With a full-time staff of 18 people in Peja and Prishtina, Anibar plays a key role in promoting cultural exchange and creative expression in Kosovo. 

Basic details:

Position: Human Resources Coordinator

Contract: This is a part-time employment, one-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement. 

Work Location: Peja – Kosovo. Applicants should be eligible to work in Kosovo at the start date of the employment. 

Contract Start Date: 1 December 2024 

Reports to: Executive Director 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes of the human resources within the Anibar programs;

• Ability to manage people, resolve conflicts, and convey policies clearly;

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures;

• Coordinate training and development programs;

• Ensure compliance with Kosovo labor laws and organizational standards.

Qualifications and skills: 

• Proven experience in Human Resources and working with people;

• Strong knowledge HR best practices and of of labor laws;

• Interpersonal and communication skills;

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;

• Sensitive, careful, and respectful in approach to work and relationships with people;

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; 

• Proficient in Albanian and English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus);
