Chinese director Yuan Shui created this animated music video for ChrisLee’s song The Ostrich Escaped, based on a true story of an ostrich escaping a safari park and dying of exhaustion after running 20 kilometers. Various artworks were inspired by this story. Yuan Shui distilled these into animation, symbolizing the subjective projections of people onto the ostrich and playfully reflecting how an ostrich might perceive humans.
