An animation created for the avant-folk music trio Monsieur Doumani from Cyprus, Nychtopapparos (Night Bat) follows the awakening of the night bat beneath the rising full moon, accompanied by the other creatures of the dark. In Cypriot slang, “nychtopapparos” also embodies the restless spirit of those who wander sleeplessly through the night.
