Join us for a five-day creative workshop where animation, photography, and imagination come together.

Participants will explore the festival venue through photography and video, capturing interesting corners, textures, objects, and hidden details. These images will then become the foundation for stop-motion animation.

Using clay, paper cut-outs, drawings, collage, colors, and a variety of creative materials, participants will transform their photographs by adding characters, creatures, and moving elements. Through experimentation, play, and collaboration, the group will create a series of short animated sequences that will be combined into one collective mixed-media animation.

This workshop encourages participants to look at familiar places with fresh eyes, tell stories through animation, and enjoy the process of creating together.

No previous experience is required—only curiosity, creativity, and a desire to make things move.

Albana Hajdini is an Illustrator, Graphic & Motion Designer based in Prishtina. With over five years of experience in animation, illustration, and visual storytelling, she has worked on a wide range of commercial, educational, and creative projects. Alongside her professional practice, Albana loves giving back to the community through education and has taught animation and illustration through classes at Bonevet, in the Genesis program, and the Animation Academy in Peja.

Leonita Thaqi is an animator and visual effects artist from Kosovo currently living and working in Prishtina. Her first engagement in animation as a medium was in Anibar Animation Academy, as part of the first generation of the program, completing it at the age of 17. Ever since, she has continued her work in the field as a pre and post-production artist in major studios in Kosovo like Permanent, A-TV, and Tellall. Alongside her professional work, she has contributed to animation education as a tutor at the Anibar Festival, the Genesis Project, and the Anibar Animation Academy in Peja.
