“Enchanting Tales for Young Viewers: Highlights from Anibar’s Young Audience Competition

The Young Audience Competition continues to bring phenomenal works to Anibar designated for younger viewers but definitely not limited to them.

There was a total of seven movies screened on Tuesday which most certainly captivated the audience.

The Torrential Melody:

In a town plagued by a long-lasting drought, the fate of the community rests upon the shoulders of a wandering musician. Armed with an accordion that possesses the power to summon rain clouds and defy the elements, he becomes the town’s hope for relief.

The townsfolk come together in celebration. Fireworks light up the sky, and vibrant attires fill the streets as they eagerly await the arrival of their savior. However, the musician brings with him a grave warning: each note of his accordion will bring clouds, but he cannot tame the storm, and the song will not end until the final note is played. If they wished to proceed they must point him to the highest peak.

Undeterred by the warning, the townsfolk point to the highest peak, pointing with unwavering determination. As the storm finally arrives, the downpour washes away the landscape. Yet, amidst the newfound abundance, tragedy strikes, as the storm claims hundreds of lives, and the fish thrive on the remains.

In the aftermath, the wandering musician disappears without a trace. However, it is said that if a torrential storm engulfs your surroundings, the haunting melody of an accordion may still be heard.
