The story follows six-year-old Diego, who watches so much television that he develops “square eyes.” This triggers bizarre events as fictional worlds begin leaking through screens throughout an apartment building. When two police officers respond to a noise complaint, they become trapped in a chaotic collision of realities and fictional characters.
