Omar (45) gets a job as a night watchman in a construction company at a building site in the middle of the jungle. He spends his nights looking after machines and thinking about how to cope with the costs of his wife’s illness. In the solitude of the dark forest, he is visited by a magpie and establishes a bond of friendship with the bird from which both will benefit. However, Omar realizes that disturbing nature always has consequences.
