The narration is richly performed by Michael Rosen, children’s poet, author, and lifelong champion of children’s rights and education. In his clear-eyed retelling, Rosen uses a sly comic touch to address the reality of bullying and child exploitation, but doesn’t shrink from the possibility of violence and the importance of turning to friends for help.
