Get ready for a week filled with art, culture, and entertainment as Anibar 2024 arrives with a rich program that will captivate all animation and multimedia art enthusiasts. This festival, which has become one of the most anticipated cultural events in Kosovo, will take place from July 15 to July 21, 2024, in Peja. With a unique blend of animated films, creative workshops, panel discussions, and numerous activities, Anibar aims to inspire and engage the public by providing a platform for artists and creators from around the world.
The festival will kick off with a grand opening ceremony at the Lake Cinema on July 15, followed by a big party featuring performances by DJ SugarFree, the band SHEGA, and DJ Oda Haliti. Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops and interactive sessions led by renowned artists and professionals, including video mapping, animation creation, paper cut-out animation, and advanced puppet-making and stop-motion techniques.
The program also includes competitions for young audiences, special film screenings, human rights discussions, and international collaboration projects. For virtual reality enthusiasts, there will be a dedicated program at the Art Gallery running all day.
Evenings will be reserved for international and student screenings, while after midnight, festival-goers will have the chance to enjoy after-parties with diverse music and live performances.
