The festival closes with a spectacular evening featuring the Albanian music diva, Adelina Ismaili. Her return to the stage will be a historic moment for the festival. Following Adelina, Tadi will conclude the evening, ensuring the final night is as magical as the entire week.
Who hasn't grown up with Adelina's songs? Who hasn't danced to her music, who hasn't dreamed of being like Adelina? A teenager in the '90s, she made history on the Albanian music scene with the courage to be herself, bringing a new spirit to our lands and raising awareness about gender equality.
At 16, in the '90s, she became a model, singer, actress, and performer. These were incredible professions for a people who struggled with education, culture, and freedom due to a merciless occupation. These challenges did not stop a teenage girl from living her dream of being a DIVA.
But were these the only obstacles? No, the greatest challenge, as for every other girl who still faces it, was being a WOMAN. Thirty years have passed since her first appearances on the music scene, with her extravagant outfits and courage to address sensitive topics of that time. Even after 30 years, our girls and women still lack her courage, which is one of the main reasons why Adelina is our guest performer.
From her extravagant outfits to her bold lyrics, Adelina was nominated as the most influential woman of the '90s in Kosovo. Her unwavering stance against the patriarchal mentality in our country earned her the title of the Albanian Diva in the cultural history of the Albanian stage. Adelina is the symbol of breaking the patriarchy for the first time in our lands. By embodying the principles of rights and equality, we proudly welcome her to one of our nights.
