"La Fazani" is the performative alter-ego of Arbër Salihu, a composer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Prishtina, Kosovo. Kicking in the music scene since 2013, Arbër has been active with many different acts of Pristina, including "Cute Babulja", Genc Salihu and Edona Vatoci. More notably, he is part of the duo "Oborri", with whom he released the self-titled debut album in 2017 including four music videos. Having graduated in music composition, he is also an award-winning composer for film and theatre, and has recently been composing children’s music for the educational platform “Planeti i Fëmijëve”. His classical piece “Variations on Luleborë” has been published in “Anthology of young Kosovar composers” in 2020, and won the third price in the prestigious "Chopin Piano Fest" in 2022. He debuted his "La Fazani" act in 2022, incorporating elements of hip-hop, rock & roll, Albanian folk and African rhythms to serve as a backbone for his vibrant lyrical narratives, often depicting animated social realities of life in Kosovo. He has released three singles so far, with "Hajde me shuplakë" peaking at number 2 at Top Awards Albanian charts. He performs live with a five-piece band which includes some of the most prominent names in Kosovo's music scene, and has already played in some of the biggest festivals and venues in the region.
