Conquering Lion

Conquering Lion is a dub / reggae / crossover band from Tetovo (Macedonia) which
started their opus in April 2007. In October 2009 the band released its first album (LP)
simply titled as “I” for PMG Recordings (MK) containing 10 songs, including the
collaboration with the Jamaican artist Jah Clarity on the song “Jah Love”. During the
past 5 years the band has toured extensively throughout the Balkans (Macedonia,
Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, Romania, Slovenia...) and
also played in Germany. The band released its second album named “Know Your
Wisdom” on 26th August 2011 followed by a 30 day Balkan tour from 1st to 30th
September. Conquering lion has performed some significant concerts alongside Manu
Chao (FR) Gentleman (GER), Ras Zacharri (JA), Raphael (ITA) Donald Minott (JA),
Hornsman Coyote (RS)...
In December 2012, Conquering Lion released the official video for the song “Fire” which
came out as a single from the second album. On 22nd November 2013 Conquering Lion
released their third studio album named “Revelation” followed by an official video for
the second single “Trickster’s End”. In April 2014 Conquering Lion made a successful
European tour and passed through many countries (Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia,
Czech Republic, Poland...).There was another successful European Tour that took place
in April - May 2015. Few years later in 2017 the band finished the work on their 4th
studio album “Land Of Confusion” which was released on 24.02.2017 under the label
Locksmith Records based in New Jersey, USA. The release of the album was followed
by another European tour in 2017. The first single “GO” from the 4th album has been
released in May 2016 with an official video for it which was promoted on one of the
biggest reggae portals “Reggaeville”. The second single from “Land Of Confusion” titled
“Wake Up” featuring the Jamaican reggae artist Ras Zacharri has been also published
and premiered on “Reggaeville” in January 2017. The album “Land of Confusion” was
also listed as a pre-nominee on the 60th Annual Grammy Awards for the category Best
Reggae Album, however it didn’t made it in the Top 5 artists but it was a big success
for the band to be placed on this list alongside other big artists. Conquering Lion
immediately continued their work with the following fifth studio album and the first
single “Shine” was premiered on 23rd of March 2018 at the reggae portal “Reggaeville”.
The second single “Badman World” featuring Italian reggae artist Raphael was
premiered on 27th of August 2018 at the reggae portal “Reggaeville”. The 5th studio
album “Revolution Time” was released on 30th March 2020 for the international label
“Rehegoo Music Group” from London, UK. Currently working on their 6th studio album,
the band announced the forthcoming album with the first single titled “Long Time” in
collaboration with the Macedonian rock singer Dani Dimitrovska, which was premiered
on 8th December 2021.

Florent V

He began his career in 2009, releasing music in the most important parties and events that took place in the town where he was born, and since then, Florent V has never returned back. His talent as a DJ has also sent him abroad Kosovo.

One of his best and most successful performances at the time, was at Rugova in 2011, which gave him a rise to the even greater success that he achieved today.

Florent V released music on various radio stations, such as Vividzone, Radio Intech, Djsline, DI.FM, Frisky Radio and others.

He has also appeared in many festivals of Kosovo and the region, such as: Into The Pak, Peja; Anibar, Peja; RrotFest, Gjilan; Summit Festival, Prishtina; NgomFest, Prizren; FirstWave – the latter in Tirana!

Always busy, Florent V is known also as a producer of progressive stream, which he has established together with renowned Kosovo DJ Nani Killa from Peja. This label is known as Bedroom Sounds, which is there to promote new artists who have the passion for electronic music.

Florent V’s music sound always encourages great reaction on the dance floor. His broad musical taste allows him to feel very much secure at the big open air festivals, club nights, and even other bigger events!

Florent V comes from a family who has passion for music, starting with his grandfather and his father, which is still going on as a beautiful family tradition.
