The film is about the remarkable life of a poor priest’s son – Georg Julius Justus Sauerwein and his life-long love for Princess Elisabeth of Wied, later Queen of Romania. This Magnificent Cake!- premiered at the 50th Directors Fortnight, and is included in competition at Animafest Zagreb and Annecy Festival. An anthology film set in colonial Africa in the late 19th century telling the stories of 5 different characters: a troubled king, a middle-aged Pygmy working in a luxury hotel, a failed businessman on an expedition, a lost porter and a young army deserter.This edition comes to Anibar 15 august at 16:00.
Chriss the Swiss- it’s a documentary written by Anja Kofmel who talks about her cousin, who was a swiss journalist who decided to go to war in Bosnia in 1992 and after a short time was found dead in mysterious circumstances. Chriss the Swiss has been part of many international festivals like Cannes, Annecy and many others. This year will be at Anibar on the 16th of August at 16:00.
