“Balkan Competition” Part 1

There were 10 movies that were screened in total at the “Jusuf Gervalla” Cinema in Peja during the “Balkan Competition” today. Each one of them had a specific message and each one of them had a different meaning. 

Some of the participants added the authors of the movies express their emotions through film and that they left a lot of impressions for them. One of them was Antonia (24, Germany) who said

 “It is hard to give only one comment for all of these movies but they were impressive enough and gave a lot of information”.

She also added that her favorite movie from those ten was “A Cat is Always Female”

In the meantime, 25 year old, from France said “I do not know what to say the emotions were interesting”. As for his favorite movies he said that they were “Imbued Life” and A Very Short Movie”.

Andi Kola, 27, from Pristina when asked about his impressions stated that the movie “A Cat Is Always A Cat” dealt with it in a good way and included philosophy but the animation was not that good.

He said that “Women need to be more involved in the field of art” when asked about the same movie. 

Whereas his favorite movie was “N’ kornizë” (In the frame).
