Away, The Tower and Ruben Brandt, Collector will be featured at Anibar

The 10th edition of Anibar will screen 3 featured films which have been selected in the Feature Film Competition which will be screened at Jusuf Gervalla Cinema.

The Tower – Norwegian animation director Mats Grorud, comes with his debut feature, a drama about a family of Palestinian refugees in Beirut, where a young girl learns about her family’s history through stories told by three previous generations of refugees. This year comes at Anibar, 16 July at 16:00.

Ruben Brandt Collector – A famous psychotherapist, is forced to steal 13 paintings from the world’s renowned museums and private collections, he quickly becomes the most wanted criminal in the world. A 90 minutes-long feature by Milorad Krstic, the Budapest-based artist, and animator who wrote and directed the film. Premiered at the 71st Locarno Film Festival, Ruben Brandt Collector comes at Anibar, 17 July at 16:00.

Away – Is telling the story of a boy and a little bird that is traveling across an island on a motorcycle trying to escape a dark spirit and get back home. Gints Zilbalodis, the Latvian animator produced this 75 minute-long film on his own over three-and-a-half year, which is screening in competition program at Anibar, 18 July at 16:00.
