Anibar Animation Film Festival has just announced its line-up of after parties for the 6th edition of the annual celebration that takes place in Peja, Kosovo, and runs from 20th to 26th of August 2015.
Line-up from this year’s late night parties features a number of modern established performers, such as solo artists, bands and DJs, from both Kosovo and abroad.
There will be a great music laid out before you, and here’s a preview on what to seduce your eardrums with from the menu we have prepared.
August 20th, Thursday – Opening number stars singer/songwriter Shpat Deda who is back in Peja to perform his authorial music, cultivated and brought in best flavors to the audience. Deda is a beloved singer to many generations, and with his distinctive voice and talent, people appear when-and-wherever he’s at. Who also come next this night are Agnes and DJ Versus.
August 21st, Friday – This is going to be double fun: it’s Anibar & Friday! BIM BIMA, former member of NR, a well-known Albanian hip-hop prodigy, will take the stage together with G-Fighter and DJ Bujaka. His songs convey mesmerizing lyrics and beats, life-inspired and describing personal, political and social hardships. Following this act of Friday’s party at Anibar are the emerging Mindbend and Megan.
August 22nd, Saturday – Together with Bytabz b2b Dreamz, and Nani Killa, this night’s band will be “Threesome” who describes as a combo that delivers the sound of explosive surf punk and that doesn’t care much about time or place.
August 23rd, Sunday – Not at all unknown is either Florent Abrashi, winner of The Voice of Albania, who is coming to Anibar to perform with Funky Guru that together represent an interrelation of various trends and influences among the band members, by combining different genres but essentially staying in rock, funk, jazz and pop. The music will go on with Neritan Selector and Sapton, same night.
August 24th, Monday – Anibar never ceases to amaze us with new names and bands that come to perform this time of the year. It is Indigos, a band from Shkoder, Albania, who will take the stage with their long songs, multiple time changes, and various riffs. They play music based on various elements in particular, such as rock, metal, melody and progressive roots. Florent V and Milot B will also be there for your entertainment.
August 25th, Tuesday – “Këpurdhat” (m. The Mushrooms in English) are working on their new video and their album will soon be released. The band comes from Tetovo, Macedeonia and is bringing their indie rock vibes to the festival. Trimi and Ersan are also not to miss this night.
August 26th, Wednesday – The headliners of this year’s parties are Jehonë, Deniz Pupuz, and Agon Shporta – three altered performers who come to Anibar to make the final act unforgettable.
